. . .  has taught classes in the history of food and wine at Boston University’s Masters Degree in Gastronomy program and was longtime wine columnist for The Boston Globe. His wine segments aired nationally on NPR’s America’s Test Kitchen and Milk Street radio shows. He is currently senior wine buyer at Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he can often be spotted stocking shelves, dusting bottles and adjusting the tilt of his fedora — though sometimes he leaves his spots at home.
